AFFORDABLE DUMBBELL

GP Industries would like to introduce a New Product line that will offer substantial savings while offering increased performance and durability in lighter duty environments. Basically what we have done is produced a Dumbbell/Barbell line that utilizes the same High Strength Gravity Molded Urethane found in our Commercial Unilock Product Line. The cost advantages come from slightly reducing the amount of Urethane coating in less vulnerable areas and utilizing efficient production methods. Like our Commercial products these coatings are chemically bonded to the solid steel core unlike most competitive products. This bonding has proven to be a critical component in the manufacturing process. The reason why a little less coating is not an issue is because we use very high quality U.S. made Urethane compounds that we export overseas.

The foreign Urethane materials have proven to be very inconsistent. We use the same process of pouring the Urethane onto the core which is similar to mixing cement, once it is bonded and cured the coating is bulletproof with NO seams that can separate. Lastly the handles are attached with our new Patent Pending weld method that does not apply any heat to the handle itself eliminating the common heat affected zones that plague most welded products. These heat zones cannot be seen with the naked eye so you never know when a handle might simply snap into two pieces ( AS DISCUSSED IN CREATING THE ULTIMATE DUMBBELL).

Additionally the steel ends are pressed onto the handles with a force in excess of 150 tons. We produce these new products 100% ourselves in our China factory from beginning to end under our strict supervision to exacting standards giving us maximum efficiency and cost reductions that we can pass on to our customers. We are currently offering Dumbbells from 5-100 pounds in 5 pound increments. Series II was designed to enhance our offerings normally chosen for Hotels, Corporations, Personal fitness or any other application that is not subjected to a lot of severe use and abuse.

Normally for this these types of applications individual plate loaded dumbbells and barbells have been used coated in rubber or low grades of NON Bonded Urethanes or plastics assembled in conventional bolted methods with locking adhesives, this is very dated technology. Nothing comes close to SERIES II from a safety and durability standpoint especially at the price point we offer. Unilock will continue to be the clear choice in heavy use and abuse environments or where requirements exceed 100 pounds.
